10 Week Summer Sporting League - Start 21 May 13

Started sending out the Flyer for Summer League 2013 to all who are involved with Hunters Pointe. League will begin the week of 21 May after the kids are out of school. League will be shot at member rates $18/50 targets weekly and is ten (10) weeks long. Teams can roster from two (2) to five (5) persons to shoot each week and can shoot Tuesday through Sunday (6 Nights to shoot). The "Weekly Team Score" will be the highest two individual scores for the week. Youth Shooters (Under Age 16) receive a 25% discount but must shoot while accompanied by an adult.

New 600 Yard Rifle/Pistol Range

Work will begin on the new 600 Yard Range the week of 6 May. With the weather conditions we're getting a late start but we should up and shooting on the new range before the middle of June. Some of the old pad is still usable but won't be for long. Everyone interested in the range should contact Chris before making plans to shoot. Range will be developed for at least five outside pistol lanes with moveable targets from 7-50 yards, 20 total shooting lanes available. The expansion should improve the facility and meet safety requirements of all involved.

East Course Stands Up for 2013

East Clays course is now open for the 2013 shooting Year. Hunters Pointe will continue to run two (2) Sporting Courses, an East & West, 14 Field/Station Main Courses until snow flies in November/December. In additon to the Two distictly different clays courses the trap, skeet and Compact/5-Stand Courses are up and ready to go as well. The two man flurry/wobble trap over looking the lake is also ready and we'll add the second "Overhead Wobble Trap" before mid summer.
